It was recently reported by the former national security advisor to President Jimmy Carter, Zbigniew Brzezinski, that American military commandos are already operating in Iran, possibly as terrorists targeting our real and potential enemies.

Are American commandos operating in Iran? If you ask Brzezinski it is reported that he will say, "I don't know, but I have seen allegations to that effect, and I do know that people are getting killed by acts of terrorism and if it is not us, then who else could it be". Again, I have no knowledge of the accuracy of the story, I just happen to respect the source.

Mortimer Zuckerman the editor-in-chief of U.S. News and World Report, editorializes this week saying, "look behind the curtain of virtually every major problem in the Middle East and you will find Iran: killings in Iraq; arms and money for Hezbollah's assaults on Israel and Hezbollah's attempts to usurp the elected government of Lebanon's support for Israel", and the list could go on.

Frankly, if this is the way that it is, then there could be no worse time for us to attack Iran. We are truly extended, perhaps over-extended and frankly Iran is in a very strong position.
